Lån & Spar’s Personal Data and Cookie Policy
The EU General Data Protection Regulation — commonly abbreviated as GDPR — is intended to prevent the misuse of personal information and therefore gives you greater control over your own data.
What is personal data?
Personal data is information that others can use to identify you as a person — this can be anything from your name and CPR number to information about your religious and political beliefs.
Some personal data is particularly sensitive and must be given extra protection. This includes information that relates closely to you as an individual, such as your health, ethnicity, and membership of a trade union.
How to protect yourself against misuse of your data
At Lån & Spar, we want to protect you against the misuse of your sensitive personal data — also when you contact us yourself. It is therefore important that you contact us through secure channels:
For customers
- As a private customer, you can write to us in the online bank, behind login.
- You can also download Lån & Spar’s mobile banking app and write to us securely there.
- If you are a business customer, you may continue to write to your adviser by email if you password-protect documents containing sensitive personal information.
Are you not a customer?
- You can use our contact forms on lsb.dk or write to us in the mobile banking app.
Enquiries containing sensitive personal data will be rejected if they are not sent securely — and we will therefore not receive the information.
What information does Lån & Spar Bank collect about you?
As a bank, we collect a range of personal data about our customers — both general and sensitive — which we always treat confidentially.
In our contact forms, we register non-sensitive information such as name, address, city, etc., as well as information about your advisory centre.
In addition, we often collect information about trade union affiliation, as we offer special benefits to members of a number of trade unions. We always ask for your consent, and you can subsequently withdraw your consent.
Lån & Spar Bank may use AI-based functions in online and mobile banking to help customers use self-service solutions, including, for example, setting up transfers and navigating the solution. The AI function only uses information that is available as part of the customer’s use of online or mobile banking.
No automatic decisions are made regarding credit, prices, or customer relationships in general through the use of the function, and the customer must always carry out the final transaction themselves.
We only collect information described in our personal data policy. You may at any time ask to be informed of which personal data we hold about you.
